Wolston Moss
Moss had tremendous power and presence, the most I have ever seen, but could be a bit tough to handle at times. He was
the primary worker on the farm and was indispensable in getting us going and running our operation.
His favorite party trick was to sort a flock of 50-100 sheep as he brought them down the field so we only ended up with the ones we wanted. He could also easily move several hundred sheep without a second dog. Moss was a fast worker
with little patience for troublesome stock although he was also very
gentle with lambs. He retired early from trials due to injuries just when i had finally figured out how to run him. He is now fully retired and living a life of comfort that he has earned
