Activities and Events at Wolston Farms
Throughout the year we have a number of regular and special events at the farm that are open to the public. To find specific dates for the events please check the calendar.
Shearing Day - Usually the first weekend in March we invite you to come and see the sheep being shorn, and watch the wool being prepared for processing. If your a fiber artist you can purchase individual fleeces either before or after they come off the sheep. Admission is free.
Meet The Lambs Day - Usually he second weekend in April this is our most popular event. Bring the whole family to see, pet and perhaps even feed the baby lambs and watch the dogs work as they move sheep around in the fields. Admission is free.
Sheep Thrillz Stock Dog Trial & Fiber Festival - The first or second weekend in July we hold a three day event bringing together some of the best sheepdogs and their handlers from all over the Northwest and some of the finest fiber and fiber artists our area has to offer. Come and watch the dogs compete, watch the fiber arts demonstrations and enjoy summer in the country. Admission is $5 per car.
Herding Clinics - A few times throughout the year we offer herding clinics taught by Ian or by renowned instructors from around the country.
